Frits is an experienced lawyer who focuses mainly on entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized maritime businesses, internationally as well as nationally. His areas of expertise are contract law, corporate law, insurance law and transport law. He also heads the employment law section within the firm and provides various clients with advice in this area.

Frits studied corporate law at RU Leiden and obtained his LL.M. from the University of London (University College) in August 1989. Frits was sworn in as a lawyer in 1989, has been a partner at Van Dam & Kruidenier advocaten since 1999 and is co-founder and partner of Fairway advocaten since 2022.
